  • TryLive automatically detects the best version for your browser and launches it. For the best experience and for Live Mode (the top left button in TryLive), we recommend desktops (with cameras) and Android devices. Currently, only Photo and Video modes are supported for iOS, but we expect to launch support for Live Try On in 2018.
    • Be sure to follow the instructions closely—the technology is focused on facial recognition and something as simple as looking away from the camera when it sets up can throw it off.
    • Also, avoid having a bright light directly behind you.
  • You can sometimes find your Pupillary Distance (PD), i.e. the distance between your pupils, on your eyeglasses prescription (if you don’t have a PD on your prescription, we’ll automatically provide a tool in your browser to measure your PD after you complete your eyewear order).
    • If you do have your PD measurement now during Virtual Try-On, please enter it when trying on glasses. The virtual glasses image will adjust, to better demonstrate how that frame will fit on your face.
  • Use the buttons to the left to change the mode (Live, Photo, or Video). If the TryLive window stops responding, try clicking into another mode and then clicking back or try refreshing the browser. Occasionally, TryLive may have conflicts with your system settings. If you receive an authentication error, please make sure that you are allowing cookies.
